Just curious:

-How many times a day do you test your blood sugar on average?

-How many carbs do you eat every day on average?

-How many injections/pills/boluses do you take?

- I test 7 times a day on average. That ranges from 5 to 12 depending on what's going on.

- I average 120 carbs per day, not including carbs to treat low blood sugars.

- I typically bolus about 6 times per day (for meals and out of range blood sugars).

-let's say that i test 3 times a day...but since i began the training,i do it more often in order to see effects( about 10) ...also,some time ago, i used to play with carbs and took 20 carbs and see the approximative effect on sugar level so this "game" used lots of tests...

-i go about 250 carbs,certainly no more,less maybe..

-do 3 shots a day...7 am,1pm and 7pm...i managed to have some control, this is way i really don't know if i should go on pump or not.

I average testing 2 to 4 times a day, usually 3. Carbs? I have no idea, I try to keep portions small (ish) but I don't count yet. No injections so far, Actos 30mg starting today, it has been 15mg.

Errr, honestly lately its been about once or twice a day. :/ I'm going through a hard time right now having just had my 2nd baby and trying to adjust to things. Its terrible, I'm trying to work on it...

-Usually between 180-200. Sometimes more.

-I take 4 boluses normally- breakfast, lunch, dinner, bedtime. But if I have a snack that's extra. Oh and corrections.

Generally test around 3 times a day.

Try to limit my carbs to about 225-250 (pretty good sized guy 6'2" and heavier than I need to be, but working on that too).

Take Metformin Extended Release pills (500 mg) one at breakfast one at supper.

--i test 4-10 times a day....depending on circumstances

- 4 to 8 times a day : before meals + before sleep + corrections if needed
- I count carbs so it depends. Let's say 30 to 90 per meal....about 180 carbs every day (big amount of carbs = big boluses = higher risks of hypo. I just don't like this warning on my mind)
- 3 boluses (meals) + corrections if needed. I think I bolused 3.5 times a day for the last month...oh wait, I love snacks, ok, maybe 4 times a day...

I test between 4 and 7 times a day depending on what's going on and how I feel. As for carb counting I'll look at the nutritional info if it's available and try to keep meals at 40 or below. I currently take MDIs of Humalog (8 units prior to meals) and 34 units of lantus between 9-10 pm.
