As i said, i will start and publish a couple of recipes that i hope you will enjoy.
We call it Baclava which is sort of a Turkish cake and it takes around 80 minutes to be ready.
Quantities are for a tray of 33 cm × 50 cm:
250-300 g sheets of pie >> my package said 52 carbs per 100g of sheets of pie
150 g margarine
250 g nuts made in small pieces >> i use 16 carbs for 100g of nuts
1 spoon cinnamon
200 g sugar (it is from fructose) >> 100 carbs per 100g of sugar
120 g honey >> i use honey with 45 carbs per 100g of honey
150 ml water
1 spoon vanilla essence
Total: 52 x 3 + 40 + 200 + 54 = 156 + 294 = 450
i had cut the whole pie in such a manner that one small piece had 12 carbs. It depends on you.
If you have frozen sheets get them out at least two hours before you go to work. Sheets are divided into 3 equal parts. Grind nuts in the car for crackers, then mix with scotisoara. Walnuts are divided into 2 equal parts.
Heat the margarine. Take a sheet, put into the tray and grease, place the next sheet and grease and so on until the end of the first part, that i told you above.On the sheets put one half of the nuts.Keep the surface layers in one piece.
Put sheets over the nuts (second third) repeating operation performed with the first third. Then sprinkle the other half of the walnuts and cover with the last part of sheets.
Cover what you have done till now not to dry and turn to the refrigerator for 30-45 minutes. Fire oven to 350 ° F. Remove tray from refrigerator and cut the pie in small pieces. Cut after preference: rectangles, squares, romburi, etc.. You should keep it in the oven about 25 minutes until it becomes nicely colored.
Meanwhile prepare the syrup. Put water with sugar in a small pannikin fire. After it stars boiling add honey, leaving the composition to boil again. After beginning the stew to add vanilla, rum. Pour hot syrup over the pie that has just been removed from the oven.
It is served cold.
